OPROEP DEELNAME BIRD ART INSTALLATION PROJECT

In juni heeft Ed Hanssen(Nunhem) een wereldwijd kunstproject gestart en inmiddels nemen al meer dan 300 deelnemers over ruim 32 landen hieraan deel.

De gemeente Leudal is echter nog niet sterk vertegenwoordigd. Vandaar deze oproep aan de kunstenaars en kunstzinnige geesten in deze gemeente.

Meld je aan voor deelname aan Bird Art Installation Project. Het project is simpel: fase 1: maak een driedimensionale vogel van +/- 50 cm. Fotografeer de vogel hangend in een boom en stuur deze foto op naar Ed Hanssen.

Fase 2 maakt het project interessanter: op 7 oktober aanstaande zullen alle deelnemers wereldwijd installaties maken met de door hun gefabriceerde “Bird” in een bos of park. Voor de gemeente Leudal ligt het Leudal voor de hand… Deze dag zal de geschiedenis ingaan als “Worldwide Bird Art Installation Day”. Het gehele proces wordt gedocumenteerd. De installaties worden wereldwijd op video vastgelegd, waarna deze op Youtube worden geüpload.

Fase 3: na afloop van “Worldwide Bird Art Installation Day” worden de “Birds” onderling geruild tussen de deelnemers aan de betreffende installatie.

Het project laat de deelnemers zowel alleen, groepsgewijs én over de gehele wereld tegelijkertijd werken aan wat feitelijk één wereldwijde installatie moet worden.

Verbondenheid tussen kunstenaars wereldwijd, draagvlakverbreding voor kunst en aandacht voor de natuur vormen de kern van dit unieke kunstproject.

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION IN BIRD ART INSTALLATION PROJECT

In June, 2012 Dutch artist Ed Hanssen started a worldwide art project with already over 300 artists from over 32 countries participating.

The municipality ………….. is not yet well represented. Hence this call to artists and artistic spirits in this municipality.

The project is simple:

Stage 1: create a three dimensional bird of + / - 50 cm. Photograph the bird hanging in a tree and send this photo to Ed Hanssen/Facebook.

Stage 2 makes the project more interesting: on 7 October, all participants will, worldwide, make installations with their manufactured "Birds" in a forest or park.

This day will go down in history as "Worldwide Bird Art Installation Day". The entire process will be documented. The installations will be filmed worldwide and uploaded to Youtube.

Stage 3: after the "Worldwide Bird Art Installation Day", the "Birds" will be exchanged between the participants of the installation concerned.

The project allows participants to work both alone and in groups while working on what actually is a global artinstallation.

Relationship between artists worldwide, broadening support for art and attention to nature are the core of this unique art project.
