POST-
POST- opened her doors on 15 april 2012 as an informal space for art, culture and meetings.
Hoofdstraat 14 - 16 Kerkrade is a former postoffice.
The public artproject SJTUB, who tries to strengthen the identity of the peoples of the eastern
miningarea in Limburg, the most southern provence of the Netherlands, was given the opportunity
to make use of the former postoffice.
Right from the start POST- has had great manifestations who were received well by the audience.
Every manifestation is combined with an afternoon of discussion about art's power of transformation.
Every manifestation will take 3 weeks and is FREE!!!
"ADEMNOOD", "GOGYOSHI ART PROJECT", "HET PORTRET" and "SPELEN IN DE RUIMTE" to name just a few of the manifestations.
The main theme for the exhibitions in 2015 is "Mining."

POST- is zeer verheugd om mee te delen dat het jaar 2015 in teken zal staan van de twaalfde
Sjtub manifestatie, POST-Mining.
In POST- worden gedurende 2015 tien solotentoonstellingen georganiseerd met werk
van lokale kunstenaars, die zich met de thematiek van Het Jaar van de Mijnen uiteenzetten.
De tien thematische tentoonstellingen van POST-Mining geven diepte en gewicht aan de
relatie van Het Jaar van de Mijnen met de hedendaagse kunst.
Tien kunstenaars geven ieder hun eigen antwoord op de uitdaging van een lastig verleden
en een nog lastigere toekomst.

The first MINING-artist in 2015 is Jet Nuij.
